He shared all the information and details precisely and also accompanied us all the way to the summit of Landmannalaugar. He also explained us about hot springs and different types of volcanic rocks on the hike. Everything about this tour was super amazing the Landmannalaugar Rainbow mountains are truly spectacular and the hot spiring after the hike felt completely relaxing. Along with Waterfalls we saw one crater and a hidden gem called Gjain which was a paradise with waterfall and Autumn colors.”

“It didn’t stop raining all day. By the end of the hike we were soaked from head to toe (even though we had waterproof gear). With that said, tel the trip was amazing! The ride in and out was fun, exciting with great photo stops along the way. The destination was a wonderland of lava fields with tons of obsidian to view. The tour owner/operator Adam, was a pleasure to talk to and a wealth of information on Iceland. We was extremely patient and concentrated on making our visit memorable. On the way back we stopped for a bathroom break, food (soup) and two amazing waterfalls. Can’t recommend this tour…”

The driver picked us up in an elongated Ford Excursion which I don’t consider a “super jeep” but that isn’t what I was there for. It is a long drive and about half is on very bumpy roads. On the way, you will stop at several places to admire the views. When you get to Landmannalauger the driver will basically give you a couple of options to do (hike or bath) and say be back in 3 hours. I had prepared and knew I was going…”
